The Oetker Collection is growing very quickly: Brenners Park in Baden-Baden, The Bristol in Paris, Hotel Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, Château Saint-Martin in Vence and now, the Palais Namaskar in Marrakech and the Hôtel St Barth Isle de France…and soon to come, the Apogée in Courchevel…
We’re faithful to our growth strategy. In 2009, we announced our objective of increasing the Oetker Collection at the rate of 10 hotels in ten years, and we’re right on schedule!
What are your medium and long term projects for the Oetker Collection?
To be present at all the important tourist capitals thus complementing prestigious vacation destinations such as Saint Barth, Courchevel and the Hotel Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes.
Competition is becoming more and more fierce. Given your experience, how do you envision the incredible growth in the luxury hotel industry?
Given the quality and prestige of “masterpiece hotels” which are already part of the collection, we’re going to keep looking for hotels in exceptional sites, with historical value, architecture in total harmony with the surroundings, special attention to gastronomy and above all, warm, personal and irreproachable service. In short, the‘high fashion” end of the hotel industry.
