JFK at the Montalembert
After reinforcing the literary identity of her hotel by creating the annual Montalembert Prize for the Best First Novel by a Woman in 2006, Myriam Kournaf is proposing a photographic plunge into the universe of the Kennedys. In partnership with the Joseph Gallery on the rue Froissart in Paris‘ 3rd arrondisement, this jewel of a left bank hotel is exhibiting a selection of original photos of JFK and his family. The high point of this partnership is a book signing session on November 26th with Frédéric Lecomte-Dieu, the supervisor of the exhibit, who is also the Kennedy’s official biographer. Thanks to Myriam Kouraf, the dynamic director of the Montalembert, a member of the Spanish Hotel Majestic group, visitors are nostalgically immersed in an infinite sense of glamour a half century, almost to the day, of the legendary American president’s assassination.
