Saint-Barthelémy is a unique island nestled in the heart of the Caribbean. Created by Christian Liagre, the hotel contains 37 suites and villas furnished with enormous taste. The celebrated Parisian decorator created the furniture himself, and each piece is unique. Some suites have a private garden and a furnished terrace with a view of the azure sea and the swimming pool. The level of equipment is unparalleled. Other villas are located directly on the ocean. Some of them have a separate living room and a California style bathtub. What better way to spend a vacation with one’s eyes riveted on a heaven sent beach? Le Sereno also proposes the Villa du Pêcheur - Fisherman’s villa - an ultra luxurious residence set down on the fine sand and with its own swimming pool. For larger families or groups of friends, it’s possible to combine this house with one or two others for greater living space.

Le Sereno proposes skewered dishes, salads and other snacks alongside the water.The hotel’s greatest gastronomic specialty however, is fish. The Restaurant des Pêcheurs, whose reputation is known throughout the island, serves the produce brought in by small, local fishing boats, in an elegant and refined atmosphere. The preparation of the fish is left to the guests. Every week, in addition to the highest quality meat, scorpion fish and other mullets arrive from mainland France to be used as ingredients for a traditional bouillabaisse.

For a moment of total relaxation, experts come to the suites offering beauty care, treatments and massages. A state of the art fitness room is easily accessible, and for those who prefer it, a trainer is there to guide and encourage them.

The site, on the picturesque Grand Cul-de-Sac beach, and a turquoise blue lagoon protected from the waves by a coral reef have earned it the Travel Channel’s label as the one of the world’s most beautiful beaches.
